We went on our first international family vacation at the end of February. It was amazing! Hayden is such a great little traveller. He did very well on the plane considering we had to keep him immobile for about 5 hours straight. Thank goodness for cheerios! When we arrived in Miami at our hotel after travelling for about 11 hours Hayden decided it was time to WALK! There's no stopping him now. He's motoring around EVERYWHERE and getting into EVERYTHING! He was so proud of himself the first time he took a few steps. Whenever he bails, he tries to do a smooth transition into a crawl as if he fell on purpose. Learning to walk on the cruise ship was challenging as it was a little rocky at times, but I think in the end it helped him have better balance. We had a blast on the cruise. Hayden loved the swimming pools and they always had fun activities going on all day and night long. We met a really nice couple from Florida with a 10 month old little girl so we ended up hanging out with them quite a bit. St. Maarten was definitely our most favourite port. The beach was unbelievable with the most turquoise water I've ever seen, the shopping was great and the drinks are SO CHEAP! We'll definitely be going back there someday. We also went to San Juan and St. Thomas. They are both beautiful as well. Overall it was an awesome first cruise experience. Enjoy the pictures!
