Grandpa's Pride & Joy

It won't be long til Hayden can go for a spin with grandpa
now that he's got his truck on the road! It'll look pretty sharp too once it's all painted!
Hayden "driving" Grandpa's truck! He wouldn't stop honking the horn.

HAPPY 7 MONTH BIRTHDAY!

Hayden is now over 19lbs and is 28.5 inches long. He also has 6 teeth! He's getting to be quite a pro at rolling too. I don't think it'll be too long before he's crawling either as he's spending more time on his belly and reaching for things in front of him.

My big buddy Tejas & I in Regina

Since the last posting Hayden has got 3 more TEETH! He now has 6 chompers and isn't even 7 months old. He has been pretty good through it all, chewing on anything he can get his little hands on and he hasn't been too cranky. Unfortunately, he hasn't had his 6 month check up with the doctor yet, so I don't have a clue what the little rascal weighs. We'll have an update this Friday! Also since the last posting Hayden has been on 2 trips to Regina! Sadly, the first trip was to attend his great grandma's funeral. We are very grateful for Hayden to have met her though she was an amazing woman. He's now flown more in his first 6 months of life than I did in my first 20 years! He was very well behaved and quite a hit with the flight attendants and passengers on all our flights. He was amusing everyone with his sqweals (spelling?) and bouncing around. Hayden's afternoon meals now consist of either sweet potatoes-which he loves, carrots, peas-he's not too fond of, rice cereal-his favorite or bananas. We've been trying to give him more solids throughout the day because the little porker has been waking up a few times in the night. He has many tricks including: rolling from his back to his belly then onto his back again, sitting and playing with toys without wobbling over, grabbing anything and everything in site and putting his toes in his mouth. It won't be long until he's crawling either because when he's on his belly he tries to prop himself up on his hands and knees and rocks back and forth or tries to grab stuff in front of him.
